This Privacy Policy explains how akeo inc. collects, uses, and shares information when you use AetherLab agent kits.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information, such as your email address, name, and Google account profile details used for sign-in.
- Usage information, such as plan, credits, API key metadata, request counts, job status, timestamps, and error logs.
- Conversion data, such as files, public file URLs, source content, output files, and metadata needed to run conversions.
- Payment information handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Device and technical information, such as IP address, browser, operating system, and security logs.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide conversions, authenticate users, operate paid subscriptions, enforce usage limits, generate API keys, improve reliability, protect the service, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We use service providers only where needed to operate the service. We do not sell personal information. We do not send user files to third-party conversion services. We may share information if required by law or to protect rights, security, and safety.
- Stripe: payment processing and billing records; Japan, the United States, and other Stripe operating locations.
- Google: authentication and Google account sign-in; the United States and other Google operating locations.
- Hosting provider: application hosting, storage, conversion processing, and logs; Japan.
4. Retention
Original uploaded files are not retained after conversion; they are deleted immediately after the conversion process completes. Converted output files are retained for 7 days so users can download results. User-visible usage logs are retained for six months and are visible only to the account owner. Account and billing records may be retained as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements.
5. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Employees are strictly prohibited from viewing user files except where legally required or where the user explicitly requests support that requires access. No online service is completely secure, so you should protect your account, API keys, and source URLs.
6. Your Choices
You may cancel subscriptions, revoke API keys, stop using the service, or contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information, subject to applicable law and operational requirements. To request deletion, email contact@aetherlab.me from the email address associated with your account.
7. Children
The service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. File Processing and Model Training
User files, source URLs, converted outputs, and document content are used only to provide the requested conversion, operate the service, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. We do not use user files or converted outputs to train AI models.
9. Data Center Location and International Processing
Our primary hosting, storage, conversion processing, and output file storage are located in Japan. Some account and payment-related data may be processed by Stripe and Google in the countries listed above, including the United States and other operating locations used by those providers.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
